​A warm welcome from all at QP this Christmas.

This year, following on from last years incredible effort where we raised £5000 and delivered over a thousand hampers across schools and emergency accommodation over Christmas and Easter, QPBC are going to repeat our efforts of last year’s Christmas. Last year we were blessed by our congregation with the resources and volunteers to provide care packages to Queen’s Park Hotel, the Glasgow City Mission Overnight Welcome Centre, Glasgow Night Shelter, asylum seekers in Mears Group accommodation and more.

This year, our Christmas giving is two-pronged. We are going to ‘Stock The Shop’ at The Space, a wonderful Romani ministry in Govanhill that provides a store of clothes, toiletries and other essentials at discounted prices to people in need in the community.

And we are again raising money in partnership with ‘Love Christmas’, a multi-church community project of Holy Trinity Brompton, to build care packages for folks in emergency or supported accommodation across Glasgow.

Stock The Shop!

At our two locations, 20 Balvicar Drive and 180 Queen’s Drive, we have set up stockpile bins for you to come in and drop off stock for The Space’s shop. The full wish-list of The Space is below, you can pick and choose what you would like to purchase and donate.

Please note that all goods donated must be new and unopened.

‘Love Christmas’ Care Package Project

We will be packing in toiletries, warm clothes, gloves or scarves, and excitingly this year we are also making up a Christmas ready-meal for the guests at Queen’s Park Hotel.

We will need all hands on deck to get this organised.
If you can, please donate to our Christmas fund. Every £15 you donate means another care package to someone in need this Christmas.
