Welcome to QPBC

We are a church which gathers from across the city of Glasgow at 3 different locations (Camphill, Partick and The Point).

Our vision is to ‘Call a City to Life’.

There are lots of ways to connect with us but the easiest way is to join us at one of our Sunday services. We meet at 10:30am and 6:30pm at our Camphill campus each week, and also every week at 10:30am at our Partick campus. Whether faith and church are new to you, something you are exploring or if you are simply looking for a church in Glasgow, we would love to offer you a generous welcome.

What to expect on Sundays

3 Locations

We are one church with three locations. On a Sunday our services are held in two of our locations (Camphill and Partick) and during our 10:30am service at Camphill, the youth use our third campus (The Point). Each of our locations are in residential areas with on street parking, but are also accessible using public transport. Whether you are joining with us at Camphill or Partick, we open the doors up 30 minutes before our services start and there will be a team of people around at the door to welcome you, show you where to go and answer any questions you have.

Preaching

In other words, opening up Scripture and discovering what God is saying to us through it. Each week, for 20-35 minutes, one of our pastors or someone from our team of preachers will help us to do this. Sermons preached at our Camphill location are also recorded and available on this website.

Engaging Worship

Musical worship is a large part of our gatherings together on a Sunday. We have a large worship team who take it in turns across our locations to lead our times of worship. This includes using hymns and worship songs from traditional church hymns to up to date worship songs and even some written by people in our worship team. Not sure about what words to sing? Don’t worry, the words are all projected onto a screen at the front in each location. Don’t know the tune? Feel free to simply listen and join in when you feel able.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMES

We love having a whole variety of ages at our different locations and we spend some time all together at both Camphill and Partick, but we also recognise the importance of times of age specific learning. At both Camphill and Partick we run children’s programmes that begin part way through the 10:30am services. (Please note there is no specific children’s programme at our 6:30pm service, however all ages are welcome to join us for this time.) At both Camphill and Partick, children and their parents will be informed from the stage when the children will move to their programme. There is also a parenting lounge at our Partick location for those with children under 3 years old and at our Camphill location we have creche facilities.

tea & coffee

At our Partick location, tea and coffee is available from 10am before the service and again at the end of the service, all in the sanctuary.

At our Camphill location, tea and coffee is served after the 10:30am service in our basement and in the sanctuary from 6pm before our 6:30pm service.

All our tea and coffee is fairtrade and our cups are all bio-degradable, but if you want to bring along your own travel cup, we will happily fill it up for you.

Youth ministry

Currently our youth ministry (P7-S6) happens as part of our 10:30am service at our Camphill location. The young people join with the wider church for the first part of the service and when instructed from the stage (at the same time as the children leave for their programs), the youth gather at the front door and walk together to The Point (our third location which is 2 minutes walk from our Camphill location).

Anything else?

There are hearing loops installed in the Camphill campus sanctuary and The Point sanctuary. To use the hearing loop, sit downstairs in the centre section of the main space. If you’re unsure, ask one of our service team who will be happy to help you!

We have accessible toilets in all our campuses – just ask a service team member who can guide you to them.

First time visitor? We’d love to give you an extra special welcome. Come say hello at the Welcome Corner at the Camphill campus, or at Partick campus introduce yourself to our team at any point.
