1. What is equip?
Equip is a year out programme with a difference! It's a training & discipleship programme aimed at young people who want to:
    ¤ move into a deeper relationship with God
    ¤ develop a lifestyle of mission
    ¤ allow God to invest in their character

2. Where/when is it happening?
At Queen's Park Baptist Church, Glasgow, from September 2005 to June 2006

3. How much does it cost?
This year course fees are at a discount rate of £500.

4. Who's running it/heading it up?
    ¤ QP are running it.
    ¤ Pam Fulton is the equip co-ordinator.
    ¤ Ali Laing & Carole Archer are involved in the leadership group.
    ¤ The equip steering group consists of: Edwin Gunn, Peter Dunn, Brodie McGregor & Pam Fulton.

5. Is it open to anyone?
Equip is mainly aimed at those in the 18-25 age bracket who want to get equipped for life.

6. How can I support equip in a general sense as a QP member?
    ¤ pray
    ¤ serve - help with lunches, provide accommodation where required, be part of a support network
        for trainees, provide part-time employment if you own a business, be involved in teaching/training
    ¤ give - financially to support the programme

7. What will the programme involve/How will a typical week work?
    ¤ trainees on equip will attend training/teaching/discipleship school all day Monday & Tuesday - this
        will take place in the Crypt (QP's basement youth venue).
    ¤ trainees on equip will be required to work part-time to support themselves 2-3 day of week e.g.
        wednesday, thursday and friday.
    ¤ trainees will be linked into an area of ministry within QP or their own Church to serve, e.g.
        children/youth/community/pre-school
    ¤ trainees will be placed in huddles/small groups for accountability and pastoral care

9. How can I find out more about the whole programme?
Attend equip Information Meeting on Sunday 20th March @8 o'clock service where more details of syllabus/course work/practical details etc will be given and you can meet the equip steering group & leadership team. If you can't make that then contact us for an equip introductory pack.

10. Is there an application process?
    ¤ Yes! equip Introductory Packs will be available from Pam Fulton from Sunday 20th March as will
        application forms.
    ¤ Closing date for applications Friday 29th April {late applications will of course be considered}.
    ¤ Interviews will take place on Sat 7th May at QP.
