Homegroups

Homegroups provide a fantastic environment to establish and build relationships and a key place to work out our faith - encouraging and supporting each other through fellowship, prayer, worship and discipleship. Over 20 small groups across the city meet weekly or fortnightly in homes, with most groups meeting Wednesday evening. The groups are relatively diverse but share a common set of values centred on fellowship, fun, encouragement and building one another up in God. To connect into a homegroup speak to one of the pastors or Steven Thurlow on a Sunday or contact the office.

Men's ministries

QP provides two men’s ministries – the Men’s Breakfast (first Saturday of every month) and “Watchmen” (first Thursday of every month).  Both seek to provide a forum for the men of QP to come together, in fellowship, to challenge and encourage one another in our faith, as men (“as iron sharpens iron”).  The vision is to “equip men for life”, through encouraging men in their relationship with God, explore how men fulfil their roles in relationship with others and to enable men to demonstrate the Gospel to others.  The monthly programme is varied, and includes worship, teaching, group time and prayer.  Three times a year there is a meal / social event (April (dinner), August (bbq) and Christmas (night out)), plus a “film night” for the July session.  Watchmen is looking for men to generate spin-off ministries (i.e. sports; practical / handy work; mentoring and accountability).  All men welcome !

Earth Matters

Earth Matters aims to raise the profile of environmental issues within the church and to encourage each other to care for God's creation.  Our motivation is that "The earth is the Lord's" (Psalm 24 v 1) and we want to celebrate His goodness in all we do as a church body, in fabric of the building and beyond in the local and global community too.  Interested?  For more information contact Jane Dunn via the Church Office.
