I've just got back from having an epic road trip!! A group of us were down at the ONELIFE summit www.onelifeonline.org.uk we had a great time!! There will be more feedback to come in the weeks ahead, but thought I'd give a wee summary.

My weekend started at 5.15am last friday, got up and finished packing the minibus. (Thanks for all the camping stuff), then it was a quick pick up for Paul Mc an early morning dash over for Justus and then back to the church for a 7.00am departure.

We left and got on our way, only to stop 15 mins in as i realised that coffee was going to have to be absolutely essential!!! The journey was good crack, favourite past time waas the 'eddie stobbart game', basically you get points for being first to see a @Stobart' and then shout it out. Maddie has the eyes of a hawk and can pick them out from miles away!! Anyway we got to Latimer Park just near Watford at 5.00pm. (I was a little tired!!!)

It was at this point that I remember how rubbish instructions that come with tents tend to be, after a bit of problem solving we got there and 'Camp Scotland' emerged!!

First nights meeting was great worship, and a brilliant talk from Pete W, it was great to just get together with young folk from all over Britain. We then entered and won the evening quiz, we really are all geniuses!! Then off to bed, My air bed keeps inflated for 7 hours which basically meant i didn't need and alarm clock as lying on the ground uncomfortably is usually enough to wake you!!

Saturdaay was a mixture of seminars, games (Can I just point out that I have never played a game of rounders with such complicated rules!!! What is a 'half rounder'?) A main sessions where the worship was amazing, everyone was just pressing in to God, we also had a great time of intercession together as a group. Really felt that God was starting soemthine significant. Slightly damp BBQ but they did taste good!!

Sunday was pretty similar, just a brilliant atmosphere and ehthusiasm to live a life pursuing God. Also we had a lovely Dominos Pizza night which was great!!

Monday we spent the morning giving testimony of what God had been doing, a lot of our guys had real experiences with God. Some of them had real physical healings in the midst of worship!! Come on God!! I'll hoipefully get there stories up shortly!!

Long drive back up, I got back in about 11.15pm and then straight to bed!!

It was an amazing weekend!!!!!!

Re: ONELIFE SUMMIT

Great weekend! Roll on next year!! Was pretty glad to get out of the confusing rounders shenanigans but catch the flag was great craic! Highlights for me were Ali's songs, Maddie's wildlife documentary, intercession time, the end of the rainbow and the general amazingness of God!
