We are up and running, it's been a whirl wind but totally brilliant start. The day started for most of us around 7-8am departing Glasgow at 9.00am, A9 fun as always! The convoy arrived at noon, and the set up began.

All of a Sudden it was 4.30pm and everyone started arriving, The bus had gone well, And only 1 sleeping bag was forgotten, soon rectified!

Then it was on with the programe, tonights dinner was either korma or mac and cheese lovely as always.

This years whole camp activity is called championees, a world cup themed activity all the teams were making their team flags and strips, finished off with an opening ceremony!! (photos will follow but Internet is down) it was great fun, Gordy, Marie, Dave and Ruth did an amazing job.

Then off to evening worship, the band rocked and the young folk really engaged with worship, real sense o excitement about what god will do!

This years theme is 'nothings going to hold us back' young folk really entered into it and seemed to catch hold of the vision for the themes.

After groups and supper, it was the madness of after-hours, this year called 'Good Night' we were dreaming of superheroes as the theme, basically wearing pants over trousers, silly jokes and stuff followed by the nights lullaby of 'Dont stop me now by Queen.

Off to bed and lights out. It all starts again in a few hours.

Here are today's numbers

1 bus load arrived safely
3 helpings most recorded trips to the servery by a camper.
4 teams for Championees
43 the new kewpie uppie record with the earth ball
11 degrees the anticipated tent temperature tonight.
And finally 56 the number of happy campers!

Night night( photos tomorrow)
