A reflective Christmas service is being held at our Partick campus this year, for the first time.
Comfort at Christmas takes place on Wednesday 19 December at 7.30pm at 19 Crow Road.
Ruth Atherton of the leadership team at Partick explained: "It's aimed at people who are finding Christmas difficult, for whatever reason.
"It could be because of loss of a loved one or it could be other things like being out of work; family moving away; a first Christmas without children at home.
"This is a way of letting people know they don't have to feel guilty if they are unhappy or finding it tough this Christmas.
“We want to offer everyone the opportunity to come as they are, in their pain, and to give them hope this Christmas that can only come through Jesus.”
The team at Partick will be making sure local people know about the service, and that they are welcome, by putting up posters in shops and community venues.
