equipU – Year 3 - Tuesday 3rd October

QP’s monthly discipleship space is back on Tuesday 3rd October, 7.30pm in the Sanctuary in Camphill. Our first module is entitled: QP – A Church committed to: The Transformation of Glasgow. We are delighted to have Margo Uprichard, from The Space, Govanhill & Graham Steven from Glasgow City Mission with us.

Everyone needs to register for Year 3 – so please contact the office even if you have registered in previous years. This course is open to everyone in the fellowship, and you don’t need to have attended previous modules. For more details speak to Niall or Pam.

3rd Year Programme
“....until Christ is formed in you.” – Gal 4:19

  • equipU is our monthly discipleship space to help folks of all ages to connect more fully with God, one another & the vision & values of QP and to be personally equipped to ‘Call A City To Life’ as they make their unique contribution into the church and the city.
  • Format: generous welcome, drinks & nibbles, short worship/focus on Jesus, practical, short teaching/inputs on key theme from various contributors and speakers, small groups & discussion, personal reflection, ministry & application into real life.
  • Discipleship Extension: building on homework tasks from year 1 & 2 programmes and providing material each month where folks can go deeper with God and live out their faith where they are.

“Spiritual formation is the process through which those who love & trust Jesus Christ effectively take on His character. When this process is what it should be, they increasingly live their lives as He would if He were in their place. Their outward conformity to His example and His instructions rises toward fullness as their inward sources of action take on the same character as His. They come more and more to share His vision, love, hope, feelings and habits.”
Dallas Willard, The Great Omission: Reclaiming Jesus’s Essential Teachings on Discipleship.
